Learn to Write Ruling System

The Learn to Write and Cursive Handwriting practice books feature the unique Learn to Write Ruling System. The house symbol helps children associate ascending and descending letter shapes with the locations in a house or building. For example, to draw an ascending letter, such as‘d’, the stalk of the letter is drawn by moving up the ladder into the roof or attic. Coloured bars are used instead of lines to put children at ease about crossing bands, a drawback with handwriting guides that use lines. In research*, this colourful and stimulating ruling system was the preferred ruling by teachers. Learn to Write can be used in conjunction with Papershow.
